I don't remember what the closer was like, I only remember it sucked, which is a shame, because everything else is pretty dope

Yeah the Amy Lee feat closer on this is boring as hell.

I actually like Next Gen more than this. This has some good tracks, but some just leave me pretty meh (the closer, 1x1, others maybe lol).

Sincerest apologies for changing my opinion after a few days of having this on repeat.

Tbf the closer is good, very simplistic but the hooks do their job.
Teardrops and 1x1 are the best cuts imo. If I was to change the tracklist, I'd cut Dear Diary and either make Itch longer or merge it with Kingslayer. Making separate tracks out of as little substance always rubs me the wrong way.

agreed with your last point arthro! Mental you want to cut Dear Diary though lol, such a fun track

The potential is definitely there but the lyrics exceed my tolerance for cringe and the solo sounds kinda uninspired
BFMV's Paralysed pretty much set the standard for the short post-chorus solos in octanecore for me. Not that I need to compare them but I like such segments sharper than the one here.

Still trying to see if this grows on me a little more. 1x1 was prob my least favorite, but heard it for the 4th time last night and my opinion went up on it quite a bit.
