wasnt particularly excited to jam bloodshot but its better than i was expecting. i dig it that hook is pretty good. not a fan of the pitch shifted vocal production they got going on throughout this one tho lol



do think these two songs are a step back from pls set me on fire tho which is one of my fav lead off singles of theirs so hopefully the album is a lil closer in quality w that one

i started on the spark and didnt like it only to fall in love w take to the skies not long after lol and this albums cycle made me in love w it all. now the spark might be in my top 3 really gorgeous and moving album

No Sleep Tonight is a lot of fun but I love all of Common Dreads and think it's super underrated.

I hate having to hear Airfield live and find it to be incredibly boring. I only really enjoy Rabble Rouser and Undercover Agents although Live Outside is pretty good. The Spark was a huge letdown for me and it sucks because I pre-ordered the super duper mega Shikari deluxe edition of it that came with a tee, the vinyl, a turntable mat, cassette, and physical CD. So I get to have all this merch laugh in my face every time I look at it.

I won't knock anybody for loving it and I respect the boys for trying something new after The Mindsweep. Plus I know it's a deeply personal record for Rou so I try not to hate on it too hard.
