"those other tracks clearly trying to reach a broader yet dumber audience."

Clearly it works so hats off to 'em. But I don't wear a hat...

If they made every song long like Reptile and "pulled a BTBAM", they would have been awesome alright..

Look at that. Another review for a slightly below average album with a 4.5 rating.

"Satellites might be better but the “suck my balls” thing at the end is just annoying"

The one thing that I really hate about this band is that they have a shit sense of humor

Wonderfully insightful comment from a user whose favourite Dream Theater album is When Dream and Day Unite.

@DDD it has nothing to do with age or intelligence lmao wtf. Maybe it’s just because I’ve only heard p1, p2, and half of Omega, but the heavy tracks here just don’t do anything different than what they’ve already done, meanwhile the “ballads” actually feel like massive improvements from their older songs of that ilk.

Wondersofar...from my perspective it does...I feel like if I had 16 I'd be all around this. And often feels like I m listening to a more technical linkin park or hoobastank etc...not to mention the lazy songwriting from those ballads...which brings the weird attempt at the Bring me the Horizon audience. ps - I don t know anything more of these gentlemans...

Opposite for me. I would have been all over the heavy tracks and hated the softer ones when I was 16 lol
