Nice. I bought Rolo Tomassi’s first album when it came out, also got their debut EP at a similar time. Yeah give me some indie points please, haha. Seriously though, I meant Sput popular/relevant, I realise Rolo weren’t some completely unknown band, but people rarely talked about them here. They blew up after the release of ‘Time Will Die’.

Yeah, amazing story really. I’m happy for ‘em. Born of Slime’s review here was the catalyst for me discovering these guys. Again, like Rolo, it was last year’s release (this one) where they exploded.

Getting signed was definitely a big step forward for them. I remember a time when they and Cormorant were the main unsigned bands I followed. I don't really look through Bandcamp anymore now I'm on here, though.

It's a great place to look if you have time. I remember finding Ni on Bandcamp; apparently they're on here as well now. I haven't heard their latest album.

hummm...good point...but I trust the dude joined cause he digs how Slugdge sounds...you'd rather live shows with the programmed drums? I think its awesome they set a proper drummer and even more if he's able to play the songs as they are...the fact its TBDM's (not a huge fan) only tells me he's a talented fella.
