Ugh this whole album just sounds so bad

Guitar tone is less incisive than a play-doh knife

Isn't the Load cover a bunch of jizz and blood?

Yeah but at least it's original and doesn't look like it was made in ms paint. Besides I didn't know it was jizz and blood until I read it.

Cover is so shitey yeh, was probs another one of lars and kirk's gay 'artistic visions'

Drums are so overproduced and loud as well, it's like lars has no shame ffs, such a frustrating listen. At this point I'm pretty sure they have no idea what a good metal record should sound like tbh

Yeh. I think the problem with many veterans is they don't keep improving, they dint listen to anything new. It's like they're stuck with their sound from 3 decades in the past.

Well, a washed up version of their sound. Uninspired, useless by now.

Yep, almost totally insipid. Can't deny spit out the bone would be awesome though with 80s production holy shit imagine it with And Justice tone and James' snarling vocals maaaaaan

St. Anger really isn't the abomination everyone thinks it is. It's decent, there are a couple songs off of it I enjoy

St. Anger is where i give up. Load and reload were perfectly listenable and sometimes I actually pretty well enjoy them, but after that I can't stomach the 'tal

Metallica and megadeth are the only bands who are trying to save thrash metal from its drowning...anthrax and slayer doesnt....

You're acting like Testament doesn't exist. They've been outdoing the big 4 of thrash for ages now.
