Glad to see the 5 rating is back as the default. While I don't think it deserves quite that, it's sure as hell better than a 2. Jamming to this again now. Love it. The music videos for the singles are great too

I really wanted/tried to like the last album but it never really clicked, this one was effortless though and I've actually listened to this more than happiness which is my favorite. Albums just too much fun tbh

he's actually got some range here, there's also a sort of raspy quality to his voice occasionally that, at least wasnt noticeable, if not completely missing in previous albums.

Tilian sounds better here because he listened to fans complaints, his voice is less produced here, which is why it reminds me of TCS, obviously it's been corrected here and there but a lot of his raspiness is left raw

"but imo, royal ocean is kind of amateur,it's like downtown battle mountain lite. This is Second best, acceptance speech is most like this but self titled is juSt as good for different reasons, instant gratification is kind of boring, downtown battle mountain 2 is ight but so many fans consider it their favorite,
then there's this other album, most prefer to pretend it never happened, it's missing half the band and for some reason the vocalist made the artistic decision to get fat and smoke two packs a day and see how that would affect the music. Bold choice admittedly, but the vox suffer for it. Everything is super poppy and when it's not the guitarist is doing harsh vocals I don't know man it's a fucking mess, check it if you want but I would rec it.
It's called happiness, because the band was in denial about how seriouslydepressed they were while writing it.
Also one of my favorite dance Gavin dance albums is called conversation piece by a band called A LOT like birds"
