"Jeez 3D why don't you just put on a dress and dance for us?"
LMAO nah Ega. I have 90's football player legs.
"So I also relistened because 3D obv heard something, but now I'm tempted to downrate too." Do whats in your heart Egagoatsy. This album feels very spiritual to me. Low Lands is damn beautiful.

That song was going to be my next complaint. But I dig that you dig it. It's a justification.

That album is another 5...it worries me ppl full of knowledge can't change the chip when a band does.

I don't mind the band switching up their sound. These guys just haven't produced anything memorable since 2008.

ahahah one think you can't say about this is that it's unmemorable...in fact this one put this band on the map for many ppl, even outside metal.

Yes, but we know that a band becoming more accessible is not always a good thing. It depends on the execution, right?

right...not the case here...It's cool the way this has practically no DM...tracks like Low Lands can make my day.

There's a difference between between selling yourself and reinvent yourself...or becoming more accessible without selling yourself. Super abrasive bands like Converge f.e. did an hell of a job on their last one and they ll will be always bashed by betrayal fans. This is another good example for all DeathMetal heads who seem to don't get/ take different approaches in music.

I'm okay with a band reinventing themselves. Take Contortionist, for example. Exoplanet was trash. The two that followed were great, to say the least. At the end of the day, it all depends on what's done and what isn't done. I think the songs on here could use some fleshing out.

Intrinsic sucks. Language is sweet...Clairvoyant is top Contortionist with Exo, but this is one unpopular opinion. I tend to try and appreciate both versions of the bands, you tend bash one version in prole of the other. I don't like the idea of outsmarting some band as a listener, although its free for each one to like/ follow some new direction or not.
I understand and almost agree that some of the "songs on here could use some fleshing out."

It depends. I think there are bands who have done different sounds well over the span of their career. Again, case-by-case basis. There are certain subniches of metal that I hate tho, can't argue with that.

Yeah....I mean, as I said its free for each one to like/ follow some new direction or not. At the end of the day is the polarizing opinions from supposed fans that sometimes get pretty much unreasonable X)
