Hey, as long as they're Bowie approved I don't mind.

Yeah but now he's dead they can throw all sorts of crap in that he never intended to see the light of day. This has me slightly worried.

one is supposed to be the five/six tracks he demoed before he died, and trusted it to Tony Visconti, who has been working with David since Space Oddity. It'll be fine. And besides, you think either him or Iman, his wife, will let anything be approved without going through them?

If Tony is in on it that's alright, I'm just worried that some label hacks are gonna start robbing his grave and damaging the impact of Blackstar as the last thing he ever released,

Tony is probably going to have a say in anything that's put out. Besides, David already planned for a series of releases to come after his eventual death.

The harmonica in I Can't Give Everything Away. Something so sad and nostalgic about it (well, of course since it was taken from A New Career) but still kind of hopeful.

RIP Bowie, I still haven't fully come to terms with your passing but Blackstar is helping.

that harmonica and new career in general i recall either bowie visconti or eno saying something like it sounds like longing for a future that will never be or something

sounds about right to me

If that's true it definitely gives it an extra layer of poignancy.
