Reapers is actually decent, I have no patience for most of this though, or The Resistance. I can’t even imagine how awful The 2nd Law is, never bothered checking.

the worst of the lot tbh

All I needed to know was that there was a m-m-m-m-ma part and I knew to skip the entire album

2nd Law is absolute shit yea

Psycho reminds me to Marilyn Manson, but in a way too childish and cringe.
Idk why album cover is so cool but meh.

Agreed, Dead Inside is criminally overlooked. It may just be their best pop rock song since Black Holes

This is pretty good, man

The album is good through track 7 then fucking explodes into a pile of useless wank. Last 4-5 or so tracks are 1.5/5

I still like Defector, it gives off some of those young and happyish vibes which were present on their debut record
Up until Defector, Drones completely is worth of being called a genuine return to form

Oh ye Defector definitely has a nice main riff but the run of songs after that is worse than anything on their other albums.

Revolt is a guilty pleasure of mine. I know it's stupid as hell, but it has a Showbiz vibe and is quite fun.
The best songs on here are Dead Inside, Reapers amd The Handler. They're classic Muse

Reapers and The Handler are phenomenal
|

Reapers goes hard yeah, even if the riff sounds like Collective Soul
|
| |
Damn I haven't heard CS in ages. How Do You Love is amazing
|
| |
Guilty pleasure. I think that stonky riff in Reapers sounds like Heavy or Precious Declaration lol

I actually enjoyed this more than I expected to. I hate Psycho though, and the last three songs are a real snoozefest

Reapers sounds like a lot of things, but it is a really good live song and it has a fantastic bass groove. But nothing on this tops The Handler, the feels on this song are out of this world

The Handler's chorus is absolutely brilliant. It's almost a better Dream Theater song.

Dream Theater suck & so does this coincidentally

But really though, Dead Inside is definition of a grower for me. Hated it at first and then suddenly after a few years it is one of my favorite pop songs by them. To me it feels like a really honest and emotional love song, and i don't think you can find many of those in your average pop song.
