Nowhere2Go is my fave so far as well. It's like the most positive sounding track I think I've ever heard Earl on other than "Super Rich Kids".

Yeah this ain’t it for me tbh, some great bars and cool instruments but feels very meandering towards nothing in particular a lot of the time

nowhere2go and shattered dreams are my faves. def see the j dilla comparisons. album is easily digestible but i wish some of the shorter tracks were fleshed out, some of the best moments are fleeting. guess it lends to its replay value though. i like how the album is such a stark contrast to this one. both fantastic.

Lowkey the new album is straight up white noise. Might like it anyway but tf.

It’s not cloud rap idk what that even means in comparison to this. Like how is this ambient or dreamy.

Might end up liking this album in a similar way to madvillain, but part of me is telling me that this is actually dumpster fire trash.

this is one of those conversations where genre starts to mean nothing to me but I think i'd have to disagree with lewis and indeed point up the "avant-garde" nature of the album as per noler. the chop on that main attrakionz song is not dissimilar but I think this new album is too spiky and earl's delivery and lyrics too profound (lol) and sluggish to slot it in with, like, live.love.asap or whatever. i assume that lewis would respond that cloud rap is a broad philosophical concept or something and that it can subsume these kinds of aesthetic gestures but idk I just don't think this is "cloud rap"
