His vox on the first two songs is so mindblowing. He was too good for mortals like us

By The White Stripes? "I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself" was a cover song in the first place. Could either be Buckley borrowed from the original song or Jack White decided to do integrate bits of Buckley's guitar. Or just sheer coincidence

Sorry to threadjack, I can't seem to contact users directly on here.

TVC15, I'm wondering if you would review an album that my label released this year. Some influences are Depeche Mode and Tears for Fears. It's a short record and I can send you digital album as well as mail you the cassette release and some stickers for you trouble if you're able? Could you please send an email to invertedkite@gmail.com and I'll send the files. Thank you.

It beats people wanking over their own confirmation bias that's for sure, kinda funny how our ranking is almost completely reversed. I think I like Jeff's vocals far less than most here so take my ranking with a grain of salt.

He can range from annoying (ending of Grace and Lover for example) to divine from song to song, still believe Corpus is his shining moment as a vocalist but on the overall I like him quite a bit.

"dude what"

It ends really nicely but his voice is so shrill for most of that long note I can't stand it.

I'm still mad that Forget Her is left off the regular edition of the record. Like that's easily top ten Jeff right there. And it'd be a far better closer than Dream Brother, esp if it followed after. It's so final, it'd be a fantastic closer

Actually, since you brought that up, Matt and Thom's vocals are both heavily influenced by Buckley. Fake Plastic Trees' vocals had those falsettos uncharacteristic to Thom at that time because he had just attended a Jeff Buckley concert and decided to try out falsetto on that song because the band was having a hard time making the sing work
