For me, "The Final Cut", as happened with "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason", should never have been released as Pink Floyd's albums. In my humble opinion, "The Final Cut" should have be released as a Waters' album and "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" as a Gilmour's album. Both albums are weaker works, especially "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason", when compared with almost their discography . That surelly happened due to the lack of consistency inside the band with the problems between the band and Waters, especially of what happened with Wright.

When I said on my previous comment that "The Final Cut" and "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" should never have been released as Pink Floyd's albums but Waters and Gilmour's albums, I forgot to mention that I don't consider both two bad works. I like both. I only mean to say that both were more personal projects of both musicians than a collective band's effort.
