really can't believe how much this album boosted his presence.
Hearing a sample of "blunt after blunt" in some mix three years ago on a late night radio session was rare
Now hearing him on prime time television segments regularly.

imo, judging from what i understand of your taste, XXX would be a lot more accessible than this. there are some really nice songs on there than aren't as experimental and wacky that i'm sure fall more along with what you like

the things that people generally dislike about Danny Brown are his nasally delivery, and his molly-fueled, party-rap lyrics. If those things get on your nerves I would say avoid. If not, definitely check him out because his flow and lyricism are unreal and his rapping is actually really intelligent. Songs like "Dip" and "Blunt After Blunt" (to name only a couple) are very tongue in cheek. Not to say he doesn't endorse the lifestyle of those songs, but people make the mistake of painting them with the "mindless party rap" brush when really they're songs about addiction and blinding yourself to the demons that are holding you back.
