The bad thing with DT is that there'll always be parts one will like. That's why people are giving it even a 5.

just reminiscing about the good times :D

I might have to 2.5 this, it just sounds so bland and uninspired the more you listen to it
Jam this and agree with you in certain tracks, still this one has other decent works and Illumination theory which is legit as hell

"The Looking Glass" is decent cos it's basically "Limelight" [2]

No one ever said DT were original

They used to be. For about 6-7 years.

Band was untouchable until the train of thought, since octavarium they have made decent stuff but they went downhill

Train of Thought is good bro. Only 2 bad tracks on it, but the rest like In The Name of God and Endless Sacrifice salvage to album and is actually pretty good.

In The Name of God is probably top 10 best DT songs, and This Dying Soul is actually pretty good

@tempest: mmmmmhmmmm
As I am and this dying soul are meh-ish TOT tracks, the rest is solid

Well, Honor Thy Father is awesome for the first five minutes, but then it goes very bad

Honor Thy Father is a shitty song the whole way through
|

Album Rating: 2.5
Yeah, but I'd say the rest of the album is solid and has some of DT's best moments too

In the Name of God was great, I gotta rejam so

In The Name of God, Endless Sacrifice and Stream are all great. As I Am is arguably good but that drum solo is epic

@Green: The beginning of Honor Thy Father (except the show-off drum fill) is pretty cool. The main riff is actually awesome... But yeah, it's always embarrassing to listen to the vocals in this song...
