IDOTG is more pop punk than anything else Say Anything did imo (and that's still only on certain songs), besides that i've never really understood them being called pop punk so much

I've always found is a real boy to have its roots set in pop punk but taking alot of ideas from indie rock and emo, and their self titled feels particularly popish to me
