C'mon guys, the run from Gigantic to Where Is My Mind beats anything on here, plus Break My Body is good
I think Frank's what ruins this for me tbh, he just gets annoying at points

The run from Gigantic to Where is my Mind is three songs though... Where as this is an album that perfected alt rock from front to back. The second half of Sufer Rosa just doesn't really hold up either. It's an excellent album, but IMO this is one of the best ever.

Deathschool is right. Surfer Rosa's second half just isn't up to speed. That doesn't mean it's not an excellent album, but Doolittle is far superior.

Surfer Rosa is monumentally overrated but has a handful of awesome tracks. This has two slightly weaker tracks and 13 amazing ones. Go figure.

The 'weak' tracks make this what it is. If la la love you wasn't on this classic it wouldn't be the same. The album is an alt rock classic because it holds the vital ingredient of not giving the first fuck.
