yeah i don't really know that much about drumming tbh but i know that lopez is one of my fav drummers. i prefer any of his performances over this
Lopez might be the better drummer overall but for me the drum performance on here >> anything Lopez has done.

OPETH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS. Just clarifying. Anyways, I didn't love the music on this record. It didn't feel as well composed and it didn't feel really completed either. I am glad they didn't do what we wanted. They stuck to their guts. I'm expecting a classic on their next record.
