What's prog?
|
| |
Well, a lot of their earlier work was also schizophrenic and unpredictable, but it was so obviously superior to this because it was new and exciting (up to BWP, after which it was just exciting)
|
| |
"like i said, y'all obviously can't handle all this prog."
prog is fine shitty prog is another story
|
| |
"ya, half these songs are awkward as fuck."
That's why you gave it a 3.5/5, right?
|
| |
Well, a lot of their earlier work was also schizophrenic and unpredictable
if you're referring to Orchid and Morningrise then that's fucking hilarious.

That's not true, dude. I'd be totally cool with them dropping the metal (well, maybe not
TOTALLY cool, but more open) but I'm just am not a fan of how they handled it.
Well the two albums they dropped it completely....they were boring as hell. So yeah, doesn't work too
well for them. Although the title track and Folklore completely rule

^Devils Orchard is good. Folklore and I Feel The Dark are probably my favorites though

I Feel the Dark and Haxprocess are my favourites. Folklore and Nepenthe aren't far behind.

Sup Jamie. Any new prog to recommend? I've been running seriously low on good albums the last couple of weeks.
|
| |
Hey Dimor. Here's a few prog albums I've been digging lately that you might not have heard:
Cressida - Asylum
Steve Hillage - Fish Rising
Strawbs - Just A Collection of Antiques and Curios

Haxprocess is one of the few songs that Mikael actually solos on I am guessing. Thankfully, it's a great solo.
