The band always kinda was. This album really perfected their opera worship type sound though. It helps they got a great vocalist.

Not sure, the band didn’t keep him around long enough to catch him live. I think the unfortunate fact was that Craig Owens had all the star power and when he departed people stopped giving the band nearly as much attention.

Craig really did get a lot of credit for no good reason. His drugs album sucked ass and then the follow up to this was almost as bad. The core scene just follows personalities too much in general.

seemed to me like scene girls liked him. the first chiodos album showed promise, and tsoaf kicked ass out of the gate. after that i lost interest. when i heard the blatant word for word bukowski rip off on bone palace i lost all respect. illuminaudio prob the bands best release. the comeback was def weak.
