not enough banjo on this, otherwise almost perfect album. listened to this like a hundred times when it came out but sadly haven't listened to it much lately. i think i prefer shallow grave but whatever everything he does is golden. dude is still my hero

But I hope you could hear

All the screams from the forest

All the ghosts in the trees

And the love of a dog

Let us float in the tears

Let us cry from the laughters

When it's not for some sake

And the city's not near

god damn his lyrics are just some of the best eevvverr

Yeah such a good gig! The scottish man was hilarious. Thrown Right At Me and The Dreamer were my highlights.

yeah haha there were a few annoying people in the crowd but he was great. after the first few songs i was thinking 'damn hes already played all the best ones' but i guess thats just how strong his catalogue is. everything was great.

he played all the highlights from this, plus a few off shallow grave (gardener + bluebirds obv) and i think one or two from the latest ep.

Just want to see him perform The King Of Spain and The Gardener and I'll be happy with my life.

Yeah all the good tunes from shallow grave and wild hunt plus like the wheel, thrown right at me and the dreamer from the EP, was a piano version of like the wheel though.

Shattered kids on the run wasnt played though...

He played The Gardner 2nd and king of spain halfway through haha..

im not too fussed about kids on the run, i think its probably the weakest track on the album.
