@MSLG: Fair enough.
I mean, I'm more of a Priest guy than a Sabbath guy,
but far be it from me to say anyone topped Iommi's
riffs.
I've come to realize that selling out was a natural choice
for Priest. They needed money, so what if they
sacrificed a bit of quality? Keep in mind, I'm talking from
their perspective.
And they made some badass tracks, but priorities had
changed. No longer was it relevant to make consistent
albums. All that mattered was making hot singles and
cashing in. We can criticize all we like, but we'll never
be as famous as the Priests.
