Not a terrible decision with a larger discography such as this, although I do agree that the first 2 are underrated and shouldn’t be missed.

Sputnik quick, if you were going to introduce Neurosis to a swarth of people say ~30 some metal some not what track would you pick. We're not face to face just in a video streaming chat room

I'm thinking something off Souls at Zero because the raw tribal intensity is easier to appreciate than the long dynamic compositions on later records that take some patience and growing. TSAB would be too dense. Leaning towards Chronology for Survival. Maybe something off Enemy of the Sun

I would go for Lost

I just started this for the first time and holy shit To Crawl Under One's Skin is one of the best Neurosis songs I've ever heard. How have I not checked this out before?

Incredible and unique album, so many jams on this. Definitely essential.
If you haven’t checked it already, the re-master of ‘The Word is Law’ is worth a look, you can really here elements of their progression into this sound on that one.

Truth. They are better than, or just as good as, everything after A Sun That Never Sets.

I mean there was much better punk coming out at the time, but they're still decent in their own right.

Rumbling bass in a world of despair, the perfect sound.
No band ever came close to capturing that raw, pure sound like neurosis did.
