I think if Underoath made another album with Gillespie it would sound almost identical to LITSOS and DTGL (which already sounded similar enough to each other already); there wouldn't be much room to progress with their sound. Now with this lost, they undoubtedly will be forced to reevaluate their sound a little bit... I wouldn't mind hearing them getting both heavier and most post-metal-y - see them fiddle with dynamics more and make something truly tremendous.
