M. Shadows and Johnny Christ prevent this band from being great.

Exactly, he's a pathetic bassist and worthless to the band.

Well if he's the one who plays piano on Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, then it's safe to say that he does have some talent, but definitely not in the singing department.

Matt I think

But Ins, you could say that for a hell of a lot of metal bands out there.

Not necessarily. Most metal bassists always play the root of the chord which is acceptable. Johnny, on the other hand, just plays the rhythm guitar part which isn't always the root.

I know I'm being picky about this, but if Justin Sane stayed as their bassist I think they would've been much better off.

Oh, I thought you were suggesting that he venture off of the whole root note thing and play some outstanding lines. But instead, I am seeing that you want him to stick with just the root note, how odd ;)

Playing outstanding lines would be excellent but hell I'd be happy if Johnny did the absolute MINIMUM that a bassist should do which is playing the root of a chord but apparently he can't even do that.

only DiGiorgio is allowed to play more than root notes in metal

dispute that and i know you are a dunce
