I should listen to that album if I could find it in me to stop this glorious Mudvayne record from repeating

Never in my life did I think I would end up being a Justin Timberlake fan, ha ha.
The only time I really like listening to an album straight through is in my car or when I first get it. Otherwise, I like to shuffle like-stuff together on my computer or mp3 player.

I used to listen to N'sync when I was little (lol) and then when his first solo record came out, it sucked fucking balls but had like three good songs that were really good. Futuresex and 20/20's are great though.
The only way I listen to music is by listening to an album all the way through. I usually tend to put a bands entire discography on and listen to it too (which means like 9 hours of Thrice when you factor in the two live albums lol)

Damn, dude. That's a commitment.
I love finding songs (or entire albums) with similar qualities to others and throwing them in together in a playlist and shuffling it. It's one of those weird things I enjoy doing in my free time that I don't quite understand why I like doing it. Then, I can just grab a playlist depending on whatever mood I am in and/or what I am doing while listening to said music and enjoy.

I used to just put my ipod on shuffle and go at random while I was skating but my ipod is dead now so that will never happen again unless I buy a new one
I love Cry Me A River

I have never been a fan of just hitting the shuffle all button on something. Always gotta go with a playlist for some reason. Once in a while I get an urge to hear an album I have had for a while straight through; it just doesn't happen all that often.

I am of the mind that you should listen to an album all the way through because that's how it was intended to be listened to, unless it's some pop record or something. You wouldn't put a movie on and watch a couple of scenes here and there and then change the film. Same thing

So, cry me a river?

That makes an astounding amount of sense, Xing. Maybe I should try it a little more often.
Still gotta have my shuffled playlists, tho. I have been like that since I first got my first multi disk changing CD player when I was in high school. I thought the shuffle mode was amazing, ha ha.

Yeah full albums or bust for me unless its an album that I already know like off by heart in which case I can skip from song to song cos I know what I'm missing

So... maybe I am just weird...
Ok, then.

I find most music lovers listen to albums and casual listeners like to shuffle.
