It's no secret that Rodger Waters was a huge influence on Chad Gray, who once said in an interview that he "knows The Wall better than most people know the back of their hands." Greg Tribbett, the guitarist in Mudvayne (like I should have to mention that but whatever) was a devotee of the Robert Fripp school of guitar playing and constantly uses melodic flourishes and polytonal guitar lines to create counterpoint to Shawn Barclay's bass work (who himself was hugely influenced by free jazz bassists like Mingus, Harry Grimes and Victor Wooten).

If mudvayne uses keyboards and horns then slipknot is a brutal death metal band, lol, most of the rock acts knows the wall better than other peasants so that doesn't mean anything, greg tribbet mostly uses Ibanez S which were the most common guitars during the nu metal era.
