track 1 is sensational. track 2 is incredible, especially the way it transitions into the breathtaking track 3. track 4 is average. track 5 is beautifully atmospheric. track 6 is a masterpiece. track 7 is great but kind of sounds like track 6 again but i love the deep drums and the out-of-breath vocals. track 8 is great. this album is beeeeeaaaaauauuuuuutiful.

takk and agaetis have better standout tracks for sure...but i think this is more of a cohesive album. it feels like 1 long track to me, especially how some of the motifs are repeated throughout.

i guess it's more of personal preference (this was my first post-rock album many years back, and was always one of my favorites)...so i see it as leitmotifs rather than a lack of ideas.

That's just the point. Both Takk... and Agaetis have a huge selection of the band's best songs but, for me, this is definitely THE album.

i rarely listen to a track on this album if it comes up on shuffle, but i do with agaetis and especially takk. but when it comes to jamming from front to back...this one gets me every time.

I guess the simplest way to put it is that this thing is zero filler - which is awesome because there's a lot of repetition on it.
