It's a tie for me. Along with Silent Flight Parliament and Selkies.

Much of the lead guitar work on this album is god tier, but I still think the ending section of Selkies is their best moment

@0GuyMan0:
Disease, Injury...Madness gets close for me
ya, second part of the song is some nectar of the Gods stuff right there...
Still... I do prefer White Walls' last 4 minutes, if only by just a little.

is that good or bad? :O

End part of Selkies is the best thing they have ever written.

for me, the ending of Selkies and the whole middle section of Disease are best this band can get

If I were to exclude the obvious Selkies/White Walls mentions... I'd nominate that entire "comfort" section in Prequel as their best moment. From where the polka section ends to when the song goes back to the slow section from the beginning of the song.

New single is out, definitely sounds like it could've come straight off here.

Backwards Marathon is up there for me too, even if it does scratch a very different itch than white walls etc. That one gets left out of a lot of top-tier BTBAM discussions these days.

Alaska in general seems super underrated these days besides Selkies. Remember seeing tons of (what I assume are) newer fans in their subreddit saying shit like "never checked / not a fan of their pre-Colors material"

“for me, the ending of Selkies and the whole middle section of Disease are best this band can get”
This x infinity

Middle section of Disease reminds me of middle section of Ants Of The Sky with the bluesy riffing and soloing

Mid-section of All Bodies is right there near the top for me.

Honestly yeah Alaska gets a bad rap here. It's pretty fucking alright. I'm really not the biggest selkies fan either. much of the rest of it is quite solid. I will say I can't stand Silent Circus though.
For me Ants of the Sky, after the savagery at the front, doesn't hold up as well. It drags a bit like Sun of Nothing does (again, for me).
