also thought about it some more and kinda bummed they're not working with terry date again. producer is so much more than a 'mek the sounds gud' role and as much as i love DE i don't think the DE/KNY era represents the magic that makes deftones deftones
not sure how they missed with terry on this one honestly. but getting older and losing touch with your artistic process is a thing that happens to bands, and it takes two to tango. we'll just have to see
