Got a feeling that, just like with the Automata album getting split into two, the sumerian marketing team pushed the band to title the new one Colors II

Hahaha most likely. The Great Misdirect is "colors part 2". This is a marketing scheme

I can’t help but get forced marketing vibes from the sequel but I also kinda get their reasoning with all the societal shit that’s been going on around the world lately and wanting to revisit the “Colors” concept

It's all good. They're a band and they make music. No hate.

I just want them to get heavy again and quit pussy footing around with this prog shit. I need Alaska 2!

As long as we get something that rips as hard as White Walls I'll be happy.

Those drum solos are pretty sick, and the whole second half of the new song slaps ass.

Yep though I'm sure it'll feel more like a sequel than just the name. I don't think they're a very good fit for Sumerian

wut, TGM is simply a Colors follow up. Parallax II would be considered Colors 3 with that logic.

Tommy bringing out some truly awful vocals on the new track. He's always been the band's weak point but man that was bad. As I expected, very little about the song makes me feel like it's supposed to be connected to Colors. It's weird and goofy but that can be said for literally all of their music post-Alaska.

I'm ok with the vocals in Fix the Error. He did change a bit but maybe the recording/mix is part of why. Maybe a bit too loud in the mix and more detailed recording mic? But the goofcore breakdown in the middle of the song if what I live for. This band is awesome.

BTBAM's always been a band that attracts dilusional crybabies and godawful edgelord purists. yall can pathetically 1, 2 or 3 this but the monolithic avrg withstands any pitiful trolling attempt out of sheer ignorance. no ones gonna remember u anyway

Revolution in Limbo, sounds like it’s going to be the sequel’s Decade of Statues counterpart

Honestly, it was a lot stranger seeing them on Victory back in the day. I'd say they were way more out-of-place on that label
