BTBAM's always been a band that attracts dilusional crybabies and godawful edgelord purists. yall can pathetically 1, 2 or 3 this but the monolithic avrg withstands any pitiful trolling attempt out of sheer ignorance. no ones gonna remember u anyway

@DivergentThinking

I agree with absolutely everything you said about Summer Slaughter back in 2012. My best friend and I were massive BTBAM fans, and growing up in WV, we never had access to shows that didn't demand a minimum of a 3 hour drive to catch. A couple of months after finishing high school, we made the trip, and it's probably still my favorite concert memory, given how incredible that setlist was. I was also a massive Periphery and Veil of Maya fan at the time too, so being able to catch all of these guys in the same day was just unreal.

So is their name a fancy name for dirt or is it like a secret between them and the buried people?

you're probs making a joke and not actually asking BUT:

The name "Between the Buried and Me" was chosen after a section of lyrics in the Counting Crows song "Ghost Train".

Think one of the big things that sets this apart from the rest of their albums is how much higher the bass is in the mix. Can't really think of many other albums in this style post-90s that puts as big of a spotlight on the bassist, so much so that it overshadows the guitar at various points.
