If you're sick of hearing about Leelah, you're probably privileged enough to not give a fuck. It's not just a tragic suicide, it's about how our society discriminates on both the micro and macro levels against trans-gender people. They even get shit from some segments of the LGBT and feminist community. When you're an oppressed person, getting shit not only from your immediate oppressors, but also other similarly oppressed populations, you're not gonna have a good experience.
