I didn't remember at first either but kinda hit me when I wrote that last comment. Hopefully one day your ears won't reject the production so much and you can enjoy those songs more lol. Kinda curious what you'd think of a live version of Away From God.
And yeah you could def make a case for any of their first 4 being their best, prolly even UC too. It's just the stuff about the production that has me perplexed since I don't hear it but I suppose production can be subjective to a point.
I actually dig KoC, not my favorite obv but not my least favorite either.

Yeah CtaWB has better production. I agreed with that earlier but I guess you must've missed it. I just don't think the production on this is bad at all. I mean the drums could pack more of a punch, but they still sound good. Guitars are good too, at least to my ears.
What I meant by that comment was that I don't understand comments like "painful" or "The squeals wreck my eardrums" or "guitars are so loud yet muffled it sounds like they're throwing up all over themselves". I'm just not hearing that at all -- that's why I said I guess it's subjective to a point, since I'm just not hearing what you're hearing. I blast this all day and I've never had any issues with this, certainly nothing like that lol

Yeah it sounds fine to me. The only thing I can really think of that could be better is the drums (assuming we're comparing to CtaWB) but they still sound good. Everything on here sounds good. Jamming this as we speak actually.
I still wonder if it's just the rip he has but I think he said he listens through Spotify so idk I'm stumped man. I don't use Spotify but I'd assume it has good quality stuff so yeah I can't wrap my head around some of those comments but w/e lol

Oh, yeah when the squeals do that climbing that in Away From God I can’t keep it at normal volume. That top one is always piercing. That’s the only moment in Immo’s discog that I have to briefly turn down my volume from the normal level haha
But yeah whatever, good album overall it’s just not my #1. Cheers
