but its not really that different... its just a more accessible verison of their sound



im only half going to bat for them but if you want a big-ish thrash band actually trying something different check kreator's 90s albums with the industrial and gothic influences... they sure have more creativity than releasing violent revolution 5 times which is what theyve done since then. *that* was a bold move. sepultura's roots was a bold move. voivod's 90s stuff.

Listen to Risk if you're open to different things and to The System Has Failed, it's pretty much the only album really worth checking out since this one.

I don't like this much but Youthanasia is great. all the songs and riffs here feel so flat and generic, wheras Youth is a lot more creative and passionate imo.
