Jurassic etc. is bloody massive, does the name justice. Arguably the best song from the entire year tbh. I do love Pleistocene mind.
Precambrian is their peak, check that one for sure.

Hard to say if that's their peak since latter albums are so much different. Pelagial is what made them popular and it's an amazing album. I couldn't possibly choose which one of these 2 is better, both are brilliant

It's actually quite easy Corvo, it is their peak - see?
Fair enough if you think differently, there's just something magical about the way Precam (disc 2 in particular) is put together, as good as these guys can otherwise (sometimes) be, it just stands apart as their one truly great album. Captivating throughout.

Didn't Robin say in some interview not so long ago (few months max) that he already has written new album and its ready to be recorded?
This guy doesn't disappoint so all we gotta do is wait. Being a high quality but underground band really sucks when you need money for a studio

Jurassic is still amazing.

Pleistocene is great, but jurrasic is one of these few songs you can call 10/10 and not regret it

Really sick. These guys always deliver. It feels more like a finely tuned group of musicians than a band at times. So coherent, catchy but also has that post-metal aloofness

Could be wrong, but pretty sure they have their own studio. Pelagic records is by no means ‘rich’, but I think they do quite well for a relatively small label (though they’ve been signing quite a few new bands in the last year or so).

So they are halfway through recording a new record. Apparently they just finished tracking drums and bass

I wonder if they're going to continue the theme of history of the Earth by delving into eras of human history too. Wouldn't be too geological but oh well

maybe the next one is an accompanying piece for pelagial with the layers of the atmosphere being the theme

Their final album needs to be about the demise of all humans/how global warming destroyed the planet as the oceans engulfed everything. It could even have a slightly sci-fi tinged narrative with the tale being broadcast via recordings from space, so it's as though it is happening in the future, but that future is the 'present' being told by whoever's witnessing the event. Watching from a distance as the Earth is transformed into an uninhabitable void.
