the fact that the german preposition "im" looks like the english pronoun-verb contraction "I'm" is honestly the peak of comedy. nothing else comes close

I really want to make a comic where a dad asks his kid what he's listening to, and he says Im Wald, and then the next frame it's the dad clenching his fists and the mom is like "dont you fucking do it" and...well we all know how it ends

"i'm hungry" "hi hungry i'm [x]" is a classic "dad joke" so I guess the idea is that the dad is restraining himself from saying "hi wald im [x]"
