Just realized this has more Sputnik ratings than Downward Is Heavenward... I think it's comparable quality but just surprised as I've always thought that album was a major Sput classic

I think the style here lends itself a lot more to the average sput user; it has more influence from heavier genres which the userbase are generally more interested in. Certainly, the stoner rock and post-metal influences are what appeal to me. I kinda see it as Afternoon with the Axolotls: the album, which is by far the best song on DiH imo.
