DIY is always admirable but that doesn’t mean everyone has to like them because of it. I think this band deserves just as much exposure as they do, but they’re passed up sadly.

I have actually dreamt of seeing Stat Faults playing a huge stage playing No Gospel etc.

Searching them up on youtube it seems like they play veeery small venues. And their songs are so monumental that it doesnt seem enough for them. I want more for them!

Probably the most exciting underground band I've come across ever.

We can do the “popular band doesn’t deserve it as much as band I like that doesn’t have many plays” thing all day, but all I can say is if you like a band, buy their records and merch, tell your friends about them, etc etc. when it comes down to it the public as a whole doesn’t care about art if it’s challenging in any way. It has to be practically spoon fed to people a-la u2 on every iPhone or showing Taylor swift 600 times during an nfl game

I don't feel like Turnstile and State Faults compete in the same space at all. Turnstile only really became as huge as they are now because they've embraced more of a dreampop sound instead of sticking to hardcore. I have nothing against Turnstile, but I do prefer their music from when they were less succesful.

It's the same with Architects by the way. Everyone criticised their transition to softer music, but they're bigger than ever now. People just like the softer, more accessible stuff more.
