Iron Maiden and Killers usually are about 5 to 8ish on the rankings. So yeah, they're good albums. Far from the best and far from the ones the fans like the most...but keep on thinking you're special and know everything better. xD

I'd agree that the highlights of Bruce's albums are better than on this, but I can't bear to sit through crap like Back in the Village or Quest for Fire without skipping. I still like Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son just as much as this tho

Well some albums only have good tracks, though. Personally, i could put Somewhere in Time on repeat and listen to it all day long without being bored of it.

And albums with great tracks and other so-so ones might not be great for a full spin but they do give you more great live tracks (usually it's not the so-so ones that end up in the live lists ^^). But yeah, listening to albums like Fear of the Dark without skipping is harder because of the crap songs in there.

You think just because they're not everyone's favourites that my statement claiming that people like the "grittier, less melodic style" they have is false? I didn't even say people necessarily like that style better than all other Maiden albums, you just assumed that's what I meant because you're obsessed with proving that you're right and everyone else is wrong. It's you that thinks you're special and that you know everything better, I think you need to wake up, go outside and realise there are people with different opinions from yours and the other Maiden fanatics you have met.

We all have different tastes but i think we can all safely say Iron Maiden influenced a lot of people and even the world of heavy metal, be it with Di'Anno or Dickinson (and Bailey...but in a poor way lol). And that's what matters. This band, even to this day, is still revered to the point of bringing heated arguments about which album is better or not :D

I've only replied to you once and I certainly didn't call you a retard. My first post was a reply to SIIMBOLIC not you and I think it was pretty clear what my message was. I didn't say "all people" or even "most" so I don't know how I implied that what I said applied to everyone.
