The thing really awesome in silence is that he was really pissed off with the break up and putted all his anger in the album....it was nothing against women...i guess it was against a specific girl. And you can feel his anger! don't extrapolate that to criminal intentions or acts...people are just confused with everything that its coming around now and forget all about art expression or freedom of speech...

Well! That's my point...when you are fucked as hell with someone you are mostly unfair and can become the worst person you can...i understood that at the time, and still do now. For me it was awesome to see something that raw and rare in music. Sorry...

It's just such a visceral experience. Yeah Golgotha into Strange Hours and Closer into MY Conscience are 2 of the best back to back tunes I've ever heard.

I'm starting to think that this has a clear gap between itself and the other 3 AOTY contenders from last year.

“it's just like how a majority of the lyrics included in Converge inserts are after thoughts written after recording.

That only applies to Jane Doe, which did have lyrics but Bannon sort of improvised the phrasing and exact words during recordings. That’s why the lyrics in the book are sort of messily arranged, it was supposed to be more about the feeling. All of their other albums include all of the lyrics printed pretty much word for word how they are on the recordings.
