They debuted 2 new completed songs for VIP on the Exoplanet/Language in full tour, that was like last September though and they still haven't released anything and I barely remember what they sounded like now.

One was a lot of build and seemed like it would be nice if I could hear it in some headphones, the other was I think p groovy and had layered screams but nothing crazy heavy.



Hoping they drop something soon, at least some kind of social media update would be rad.

Lmao good fucking god that sucks. Still really enjoy their music and I know it's a bit disingenuous but I find it easier to stomach a shitbird being in the band when it's not the person singing words at me. Also if every member of every band stupidly didn't realize their twitter activity was super visible we'd probably have to find out *way* too many people in our favorite bands are just like him, sadly.



the worst part it's guys like this who I usually start raising an eyebrow at and am like "I do not like this but i will turn a blind eye and continue to listen" and then down the line comes the inevitable SA allegations.

It's extra weird when it comes from these bands whose whole vibe/lyrics/everything embodies the exact opposite mentality. Reign of Kindo was another one recently where I was like are you fucking joking me what in the fuck? Luckily I don't like them nearly as much as TC so it was much easier to flush em.



Can just hope it's more of an "every family has one" situation with TC than a reflection of all the members views, I've interacted with Mike several times starting back in the LCTR days and he really doesn't seem like the type whatsoever.

That is honestly pretty upsetting to hear. The silver lining is I didn't know the guitarists' names, so I was really worried it was that one dude who is an absolutely straight-up nasty good musician and always looks passionate as hell when he plays (Cameron), which would have been an even bigger bummer. I'd be willing to bet most of the members don't agree with Robby's views and just loosely tolerate it because he's a mainstay in the band (and the drummer's brother).

I was in a super bad mood and harnessed that energy to log as much as I could lol. Sorry bout that.

Yeah, at least he's boring background NPC (with the charisma of a moldy washcloth) unlike the rest of the guys. For some reason, true, it does always sting more when it's the vocalist. More front and center I guess.

I try to have more patience with people who share beliefs different than mine, but it's kind of difficult when they appear to be antithetical to the grace I think all living things deserve.

Sometimes it really is just that one guy. Nothing will ever be as baffling as when it came out SOAD drummer was Tr*mp supporter.



But yeah hard agree, it's pretty easy to paint a picture based on that list and it's of a tiny minded scumbag. For me with music at least as long as it's not someone who is harmful/done something heinous I can look past disagreeing with most shit on, and again it helps when they're not actually singing words at me that i have to try to listen to and not think about what a scumbag they are, but it's always a bummer to find out it's somebody in a band you respect, and always kind of shocking among the genres that usually involve more than 7 brain cells.
