That has been what I feel like everyone here has felt like who rates it over a 3. I don't understand how anyone can enjoy this.

I used to think he had a nice voice, but after this album I'm unsure if I can stomach his voice again, even on Fear Fun or Honeybear, at least for a while. His voice is pretty much the only thing carrying this album, and it's not as great or important as he thinks it is. He tries to force it on the listener without even considering the fact that his range is not very wide. It's just such a god awful album and I get worked up even thinking about just how shitty it is.

BrushedRed honestly stfu I despise new slowdive but i'm not jerking off about it and saying there's no way someone would enjoy this; i understand the appeal even if it comes down to that i know ppl grow up in different musical environments and hence ppl will enjoy different music.

my enjoyment of this album is as natural as can be.

I really don't care what you think of new Slowdive. You don't have to like it. You don't have to hate this either. Seems kinda irrelevant on this thread anyway. I just personally can't fathom anyone finding anything remotely great about this. I have an opinion and I can state it. Same for you. Have a good day.

I'm not really angry at folks liking this; I just hate this so much it makes me angry. Plus this was a pretty highly anticipated release for me. It's one thing to be disappointed. It's another whenever a highly anticipated album ranks upon your most hated albums of all time list. Never really experienced that before luls
