The bands best

Difficult to argue with that, but I still think LCW just barely tops it. This is an extremely close second though. If TIALD had a few tracks like Teeth Like God’s Shoeshine, Cowboy Dan, Trailer Trash and Doin the Cockroach, it would be on the same level.

Accurate content, "Beach Side Property" is probs the best example here and kinda a chore to get through

This and LCW are rolling on an insane level, perfect songs and completely intuitive track list flows

Anyone mentioned how “Talkin’ Shit” is a pretty decent song yet?

Fucking extraordinary, between that and Night on the Sun, has any other act hid away so much of their best shit on EPs?

Haha yeah man, I’m not even including shit like The World at Large, Dramamine, Little Motel, Heart Cooks Brain, 3rd Planet, Gravity Rides Everything, Polar Opposites, Breakthrough, Ohio, lives, Bankrupt on Selling, Custom Concern etc — fantastic band, just sucks they have such low output lately... and I actually liked Strangers to Ourselves, but damn...five years man. I did see they’re playing the LIB in Vegas — perhaps new album and your upcoming?

But yeah man, the list of classic songs they’ve made is absolutely staggering. Definitely one of my favorite bands.

If those 2019 singles were any indication, yeah, we are better off without them.

I personally enjoy We Were Dead as a whole, but I can agree that debut thru Moon is their best. Were those three singles in 2019 supposed to amount to a new EP/LP?

No, but (I think) that was the first we had heard from them since Strangers and they said they were planning on releasing another album "soon."

Almost 6 years later, not even a lick of a new album.

My totally unsubstantiated theory is that those singles were outtakes (or god forbid, finished tracks) from the unreleased album.
