Oh, I've read plenty of books. I'm in high school and my backpack also weighs enough to cut off the circulation in my arms and hurt my back. fuck paper.

You can download the file from itunes, then it's on your computer. You don't ever own the music, the artist and label does.

Translation: I have no point to counter that one so I will not try to continue an argument.

Ok you want an explanation?
Your comments make you seem like someone who lacks perspective. Your inability to use HTML code and belief that paper is outdated backs this up.

the question is why people can get so angry about this topic. artists/labels have the right to choose their distribution model, whereas you don't have the "right" to be able to purchase their music through your channel of choice.

the fact that Swift is still able to sell many physical copies means that there's a demand for that. anyway, digital is still an option (e.g. iTunes) and many people buy it that way and it's a good idea to leave both options open to maximize sales. even streaming will still be possible, because apparently Swift's music will be available on the new youtube streaming service, so it really seems that Swift's label doesn't like Spotify, and not the concept of streaming as such.

Yeah I fuck up all the time on HTML code, i'll be the first one to admit that. That's why I almost

never use it.

Paper is outdated. There is no need for it. Why carry a 20 pound backpack with you when you can

use a laptop/tablet/smartphone with all of the books loaded onto it? There is absolutely no need

for paper with the technology we have at our disposal.
