Their demo albums do better than this.

If anything, THP is a LOT better that Living Things.

They may be playing more live instrumentation, but it doesn't mean anything if the songs aren't good. Tracks like Keys to the Kingdom, Mark the Graves, Drawbar, and Rebellion are among my favorites. But then there are tracks like A Line in the Sand, which falls right flat on it's face. It tried to be this epic, almost Progressive Rock/Metal closer, but comes across as poorly done.

The Little Things Give You Away takes that spot for me.

Little Things was bland and boring for me
MTM is their absolute worst album.

Tbh i thought ALITS would be good by hearing the intro but the track just really sucks... Linkin Park isn't really good at making
'high quality' tracks... I think 'Rebellion' is the best track on the album

ALITS is le epic track, eclectic, diverse, the instrumentation is sick, and despite of certain issues with chester vocals his screams in ALITS are legit. A line in the sand, key to the kingdom, rebellion, war, mark the graves, GATS and all for nothing rules as hell

I feel like they could have done way better with A Line In The Sand..

Maybe, the solo could have been longer, and they could add another rap part made by mike, besides a dj solo in that track would have been also sick as fuck. But it was a really pleasent surprise, specially consider how eclectic is and how chester tries to give us a very good scream despite of the current problems that he has with his voice, also the guitar and drums were pretty solid.

Mark the graves is a really interesting mashup between blackout and some songs of janes addiction, not better than keys to the kingdom or a line in the sand but still pretty solid

I feel like Mark the Graves and War are the weakest songs on here.

The weakest ones are until its gon or wastelands ( still wastelands is pretty decent cuz the part of mike is solid and song is catchy as hell). Mark is pretty interesting and war is cool

I'd say Final Masquerade is the worst. Pretty bland ballad and too similar to many others they've done over the last few years (same with Until It's Gone, but guitar and electronic work are better there)

Rebellion and all for nothing are cool as hell too
Final masquerade is ok, is like burning in the skies or in my remains
