This album is kinda boring. I understand the point of repetition, to hypnotize, but here it's just over the top. It's not like minimalist composers such as Glass or Reich, since with every repetition in those guys pieces there is a slight harmonic change. Here there are no harmonic changes, just them slamming on one chord for like 5 minutes. There are tumbril changes in that some extra sound effects and stuff are added but ultimately that's not enough to keep my interest.
Also a lot of parts sound similar, a lot of the climaxes sound very similar with it just getting really loud and them slamming on one dissonant chord for a while.

I mean why couldn't they do some harmonic development here? Like the piano in freeze frame is just doubling the guitar riff, if your going to make us listen to the same 3 notes for 9 minutes, why not add a few new notes over it to add some interest?
That's why the comparisons to minimalists aren't correct, you listen to music for 18 musicians, every few measures there is some harmonic change.
