yo sowing: i'm sure there's a lot of melancholic subtext and what not that i'm missing out on, i just remember thinking it sounded like devil and god lite. devil and god was dark and cold and static but also really catchy and melodic at points and i feel like daisy is just all dark and not as memorable (especially apparent for me in songs like you stole, which seem to go absolutely nowhere). i'll try it out again sometime soon though. my opinions on music change far too often

Soundtracks was alright it's just a shame how Gira thinks he actually has the ability to make
albums that are two fucking hours long

Yeah definitely agree that for a casual listen it's pretty mediocre. And no matter how you look at it it
pales compared to TDAGARIM. I'm just a fanboy who knows every little nuance about their music. My
college roommate once teased me that they could release a blank CD and I'd hail it as a groundbreaking,
artistic statement about how musicians these days have nothing to say. He's probably right, too.
And my opinion on albums changes constantly too, although usually like +/- 0.5 not usually drastically.
