u dont understand this was the first boc album i ever really started to love when it came out, i was hardly even a fan of them before this. i just genuinely think this is one of the greatest artistic achievements humans have accomplished

its basically their pop album, and i don't think it has a whole lot of slow or really works as an "album" outside of all the songs having a similar aesthetic and sound palette. thats not to say its bad cause most of the songs individually on it are really fucking incredible still, but it really does just feel like they took a bunch of really good songs that fit together stylistically and threw them together into a tracklist at random (which is also sort of a complaint i have with mhtrtc at times, though thats more understandable given the circumstances under which it was made)
thats fine and all but compared to this where its clear they were very consciously thinking about how everything fit together and progresses it doesnt hold up
