I can't say I've had the chance to see Volumes live. Pretty jealous, I bet their setlist was rock-solid. Too late to see them now.

I remember the first time I heard Edge of the Earth live, I was blown away. That's one of my most cherished live band moments
They always had solid setlists

So on the original version of Serenity, the song ends with a solo by "Chris from STS". If anyone knows what band "STS" is, please let me know, because the person who told me this in the Youtube comments never replied back when I asked him.
Edit: Case solved. Chris from Scale the Summit does the solo.

Is it the same solo that's on the album version?

Well there are two different versions of this album. The original, and the re-release from 2016 which they were forced to do because Mediaskare Records wouldn't let them have access to their own records to distribute and put on streaming sites. There are very few changes between the albums, but one is that in Serenity, there is a guitar solo at the end, while in the -re-release, there is a few lines of screaming where the solo would be ("Louise, Louise, where I met you"). I don't know know which version you listen to, but on Spotify it has the re-release, which excludes the solo.

I've only ever had the version with the solo at the end

The version with the solo is by far better. You can listen to the alternate version of it here if you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFT7KItfPqs

I'd rather not ruin it, the song is perfect the way it is

I mean it won't really ruin it since you can always just listen to the original, but I understand where you're coming from because it's one of my favorite songs of all time.

I mean Northlane's version of Aspire with Marcus left such a sour taste in my mouth, so I never like listening to alternate versions anymore

I feel it. Alternate versions never end up being better than the original unless they're only changing the sound quality and nothing else.

For better or for worse, I added the remastered versions of Via and No Sleep to the Sput database. The mods are taking their good old time approving the album art image for No Sleep though.

The remastered artwork is wack on both albums

I prefer the artwork on the No Sleep remaster. The one for Via blows, however.

No Sleep's art fits so well with the music, I don't feel that with the remaster artwork
