Nah that album is just ok, nothing beats youthful Adam and John exchanging vocals or Great Romances of the 20th Century

Fred got nothing on No I in Team. But yeah, Nolan sucks and is useless on this record.

Eh I thought Fred was the start of Adam taking over vocal duties. Yeah seriously they Nolan nothing here except for that shitty echoing of Adam's lines in El Paso, the best song on here

This album is starting to grow on me.
I'd also argue that Louder Now was the start of the Adam show era of TBS.
|

so because there is less dual vocals it became the adam show?
|

he wasn't terrible at warped

from the videos i've seen, he's never been great live
i saw a big acoustic set at i think it was the record label's party or something promoting this album, and they were pretty good though

i was initially excited to hear this after hearing Why Not A Sexy Pirate (y'now that reworked old song) and Best Places To Be A Mom's first (and miles better) version. i don't know what happened between the demoing phase and the Eric Valentine sessions but the best songs that come out of the album were undoubtly the demos.

neva get wot u give
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Dead accurate review; and one of the best I've ever read on this site.
|
| |
I do NOT think this album is what any of you are making it out to be. Yes oh yes it doesn't sound like "Tell All Your Friends", instead TBS went for a more melodic, emo rock sound.
This is my fave of their albums by farrrrr

but it's like their worst

After getting familiar with TAYF, I realized just how fantastic this review is. This really makes me want to not listen to this
